The important purpose of our blog is not only to tell about our foraging trips, but also to openly answer your questions and development suggestions. As an entrepreneur, you realize how important it is to get feedback in order to do things better. As we know, giving feedback can sometimes feel difficult. "Why are the sold products still visible in your online store?"

We wanted new customers to get an idea of our style and learn what kind of items we can find. So we decided to leave the sold products visible, and we thought that with the filter tool at the top of the page, the customer can easily filter only the products in stock.

However, thanks to your feedback, we made improvements so that by clicking "All products" you will now only see all items for sale. If you want to browse sold products, you can find them in the "Sold" collection.


"Why are the prices of the sold products visible?"

We keep the prices visible because we know how to keep the prices roughly in line with the old ones. However, this is not always the case, and the price may be higher than previous similar products. The reason for this is that during the procurement phase we sometimes pay more for them ourselves and the profit margin is lower. However, we want to make these brightest gems available to our customers.


"Why don't you have a pick-up option?"

At the moment, my main job is abroad because of Ice Hockey, from where I do all Vintagetall's computer work. In addition to her own work, my wife takes care of product photography and mailing in Finland. Due to our living situation, arranging pickup times is difficult at the moment.

However, there will be relief when I return to Finland in the spring. After I return, pickups will be possible again and we will inform you when this happens. Pickups also open up opportunities for us to sell products that are difficult to mail.


"Why are your pop-ups so rare?"

The answer to this is almost the same as to the recent question. Along with online shopping, meeting customers face-to-face is really invigorating. Fortunately, again in the spring and summer we will be able to keep the stable doors open more often.
