Enamel sign Urheilukatu

Old enamel road sign. Urheilukatu is located in several Finnish cities. In Helsinki, Urheilukatu is located in Taka-Töölö and along it is e.g. football stadium.

The sign is old, its surface is rough and the enamel on one end is worn. If desired, the enamel surface can be cleaned and polished with, for example, a mixture of lemon and baking soda. However, we like to leave the signs with the patina of time.

The old enamel street signs have been replaced with new sheet metal signs in time, but fortunately these old signs have been spared. A stylish gift for a collector or a friend who may have lived on Urheilukatu.
