An old enamel thermometer

A nice domestic thermometer, manufactured by Suomen Lämpömittari Oy Helsinki. The old enamel instrument background has patinated and taken a hit elegantly over time.

A modern, safe heat capillary has been installed on the old enamel instrument panel, so it is fully functional!

Suomen Lämpömittari Oy is still in operation. When I went to the company to make a modern capillary, I inquired about the age of the meter. The company was founded in 1946 and it is said that there is also a meter from the early years. Even they couldn't tell the exact age, so it's a really rare meter!
