Handsome old Pepsi drink basket from 1962-1972. The wooden drinking basket has places for 12 bottles. The wooden box is supported by metal edges. The Pepsi text, painted in blue, is clearly visible on the box against the yellow background. The paint surface is old, which means that the paint is somewhat decaying on the surface.

These nice Pepsi baskets are rare in Finland. The age of the baskets can be estimated from the fact that Kokis's strongest competitor used the font in question in those years 62-72.

The boxes are multi-purpose, suitable for example as a shelf or as a drinking basket in the sauna.

Did you know that in 1893, pharmacist Caleb Bradham started making a cola drink called "Brad's Drink". The ingredients were water, caramel, lemon, sugar, kola nuts, nutmeg and other additives. 1889 As the drink's popularity grew, Bradham changed the name to the better-selling Pepsi-Cola. He started selling the drink at his drugstore in downtown New-Bern, North Carolina.

The name Pepsi-Cola was used between 1906 and 1962, after which the name was shortened to simply Pepsi. Pepsi first came to Finland in 1944.
