An old scoreboard

The previous scribble boards sold out quickly and we found one more! A beautiful light framed scribble board with fine stamps on the frame. Decoration, but still works for its intended purpose. In Vintagetall these have been used e.g. for notes.

Originally, slatted boards were used in secondary and public schools in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The blackboard part was originally made of slate, from which the students could easily wipe off the chalk.
