Old wooden notebooks are rare and started to be made in the 1820s in America. Oak, pear and cherry wood have been used to make them, so the booklets are one of these materials.
Font or booklet?
With the advent of electronic printing technology, the terms "typeface" and "booklet" have become confused. For typefaces in electronic form, the word "kirbasin" is used, and for old wooden and metal printed letters, the word "kirkvake".
