Sinebrychoff bottle basket

Old Sinebrychoff, SFF bottle basket. The basket is in good condition for its age. The surface has the patina of time and the SFF stamps stand out nicely. Suitable for many interior uses, such as a leaf basket or firewood.

Sinebrychoff was the first industrial brewery in Finland and is also considered the oldest brewery in the Nordic countries. Initially, Nikolai Sinebrychoff acquired a liquor distillery in Helsinki and in 1819 Sinebrychoff started building his own brewery in Hietalahti.
Sinebrychoff got the exclusive right to brew beer in Helsinki until the middle of the 19th century.
There were half a dozen employees and about 100,000 liters of beer were brewed per year, the same amount as today's tiny microbreweries produce. The Koff brand was born in 1957.
